If you have a physical disability and are thinking about getting more involved in adaptive sports but just don't have the extra money to purchase what can be high-dollar equipment, the
Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) has a program called
Access for Athletes that awards grants for equipment such as sports wheelchairs, handcycles, and monoskis to those who are physically challenged with financial hardships.
