180 Medical & the 2014 Corporate Challenge

At 180 Medical, we’re always glad to take the opportunity to participate in community events that are near and dear to our hearts. The annual OU Medicine 2014 Corporate Challenge is no exception!

The Corporate Challenge is always a great time. Plus, it’s a fun way to bring together companies from the Oklahoma City metro. We all band together to raise money for the UCO Endeavor Games, which is a nationally recognized sporting competition for physically challenged athletes of all ages.

180 Medical Proudly Participates

The 2014 Corporate Challenge was our 3rd year of participation. Our employees and execs volunteered for events like a swimming relay, tug-of-war, obstacle course, volleyball, and more.

Due to local inclement weather, a few outdoor events were canceled. However, that didn’t dampen our team spirit!

We had some great results this year, and many of our employees and teams placed well. We had a record number of almost 80 different employees compete in at least one event or volunteer to help out. Stay tuned to our blog for future events and updates!

2014 Corporate Challenge Awards

Editor’s Note: We recently attended the 2014 Corporate Challenge Awards Banquet and learned that we won First Place in our division (Division 3, competing against approximately 700 other athletes)!

We sure love coming home with that trophy. But the best “win” was being a part of raising over $80,000. This money will support the Endeavor Games, the largest multi-sport event for disabled athletes in the United States.

Jessica is the Sr. Marketing Specialist at 180 Medical, and she has been with the company for over 14 years now. She loves getting to be creative in her role and hearing from customers about the positive impact we've made on their lives.

Outside of work, you can find her hanging out with her husband and their dogs or browsing garden centers (where she will almost certainly buy another houseplant she doesn't really need).
