by admin June 11 2013 09:13

The Endeavor Games is an annual nationally recognized competition that is endorsed and sanctioned by U.S. Paralympics, Disabled Sports USA, and Wheelchair Sports USA. The Endeavor Games is an opportunity that allows all athletes with physical disabilities to participate in multi-sport events and also have the option, for aspiring athletes, of participating in designated training clinics. The program features 10 different sporting competitions for athletes and classifications of all ages. This year’s sporting events included Indoor/Outdoor Archery, Cycling (20K and 5K courses), Paratriathlon, Powerlifting, Sitting Volleyball, Shooting, Table Tennis, Track & Field, and Wheelchair Basketball 3-on-3 (Adult & Junior).

All competitive events were held in Edmond, Oklahoma June 6-9 and hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma. Events took place in multiple locations consisting of UCO, Edmond North High School, and the Lake Arcadia Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center. An opening celebration took place prior to all events and was held at the Oklahoma City Boathouse District.

For the past two years, 180 Medical has supported the Endeavor Games by participating in OU Medical’s Corporate Challenge. Corporate Challenge serves as a fundraising component with the intentions of raising money for the Endeavor Games. The event is brought together by companies from all over Oklahoma City where companies can enter and compete in various events, activities, and games.

Each year, we have multiple employees who volunteer their time and service to Corporate Challenge, and the Endeavor Games to make it the very best it can possibly be! Here at 180 Medical, we love to support our community and our customers.
