Hollister's VaPro™ Coudé Touch-Free Hydrophilic Catheter is a ready-to-use catheter with a coudé insertion tip, which may help users who can't normally pass a straight tip catheter due to urethral obstructions. However, that doesn't mean a sacrifice of comfort. The smooth hydrophilic coating is pre-activated, so it's ready to go when you are. You don't need to worry about carrying separate catheter lubricant with the VaPro™ Coudé Catheter.
Also, another great feature of the VaPro™ Coudé Catheter is its protective introducer tip, which helps shield each sterile catheter from the bacteria in the distal urethra during insertion. In addition, it also has a protective sleeve covering the entirety of the tube, so you can grip the catheter anywhere along its length without contaminating its sterile environment within the sleeve. These unique features may help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Plus, it keeps catheterization smooth and comfortable.
