Description
The Coloplast Self-Cath® Plus Soft Catheter is a male-length soft catheter with a hydrophilic coating, which activates immediately with exposure to water. It provides a comfortable, fast catheterization without the need for additional lubrication. It also has a unique GripZone area without hydrophilic coating for extra control, which provides a way to grip the catheter without directly touching the tube. This may help minimize the risk of infection due to bacterial contamination from the hands. The Coloplast Self-Cath® Plus Soft Catheter also features fire-polished eyelets, which may help reduce trauma to the urethra. Additionally, it is softer than regular PVC catheters while being firmer than standard red rubber latex catheters.
