2018 180 Medical Scholarship Recipients Are Announced

At 180 Medical, we love giving back to our communities across the country when we can. Our annual scholarship program is one of our favorite ways to contribute.

180 Medical’s founder, Todd Brown, originally created our scholarship program in 2012, because he wanted a way to help out disabled and physically challenged students who often experience a heavier financial burden due to their health conditions.

Todd’s hope was to help these students and their families with the costs of college so that they might achieve their dreams and “pay it forward” by making a positive impact in the world.

2018 180 Medical College Scholarship Recipients

During our application period from January 1 to June 1 of 2018, we heard from hopeful candidates from all over the country.

So many of the applicants’ stories were moving. Some of us on the 180 Medical Scholarship Committee even had tears in our eyes as we read their stories. It’s never easy to narrow down to seven finalists, but we reviewed each application and essay diligently.

We’re always awed by all the applicants’ positive spirits and determination, despite the challenges thrown their way in life. It’s an honor to be able to continue our founder Todd Brown’s original vision and help these young students with an education so they can achieve their calling.”

We’re excited to introduce you to each of our seven recipients over the next few months. You’ll hear more about their scholastic achievements and how they want to use their experiences to help others.
