The EZ-Protect™ Coudé Closed System Catheter (formerly MTG Jiffy Cath® or Instant Cath) is part of HR Healthcare's EZ-Series of high-quality closed system catheters. The EZ-Protect™ catheter is pre-lubricated and ready to use with no need to apply additional lubrication. A soft silicone introducer tip offers a comfortable option to reduce the risk of infection since it allows the catheter tube to bypass the highest concentrations of bacteria in the first few millimeters of the urethra. EZ-Protect™ Coudé Closed System Catheters feature soft, fire-polished eyelets for a smooth, comfortable catheterization experience. HR HealthCare's EZ-Protect™ pre-lubricated coudé tip aids in easier navigation past strictures and obstructions in the urethra for users who can't use straight tip catheters.
