March 30th is National Doctors’ Day in the United States each year. 180 Medical is proud to know and serve many amazing physicians, surgeons, urologists, rehabilitation doctors, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. We honor and recognize this annual holiday for all the physicians who make a difference every day.
The History of National Doctors’ Day
The very first Doctors’ Day to be observed on record was March 30th, 1933, when Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond, created and implemented a day solely to honor physicians. On this first observance in 1933, people mailed greeting cards to their doctors to thank them. Also, many people took time to place flowers on the graves of deceased doctors.
In 1990, National Doctors’ Day was signed into public law, designating March 30th of every year as the official day to recognize physicians and their many contributions to learning, teaching, healing, and changing lives.
180 Medical’s Heartfelt Message for Physicians
To every physician we’ve had the honor of working with — and to those we may not yet know — we want to say:
Thank you.
Thank you for your dedication.
Thank you for your compassion.
Thank you for your resilience in the face of long hours, tough cases, and countless lives depending on your care.
At 180 Medical, we see the impact of your work every day in the lives of our customers. Whether you’re guiding someone through a new diagnosis, performing life-changing procedures, or offering words of comfort and hope, your efforts matter — more than you know.
National Doctors’ Day is just one day out of the year. However, our gratitude for you is truly year-round!
