An Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is a statement you may receive from your insurance provider after they’ve processed a claim for your medical supplies.

Many customers see this document and worry it’s a bill, but don’t worry. An EOB is not a bill.

An EOB details and breaks down:

• What medical products or services were billed
• What your insurance plan paid
• What (if anything) may be your responsibility

EOBs are typically mailed to you after each processed claim.
