How many catheters can I receive per month?

Wondering how many catheters you can receive per month? The answer depends primarily on your prescription, although your insurance plan also plays a part in determining how many catheters are allowable per month.

For example, Medicare will allow up to 200 catheters per month (enough for between 6 to 7 times per day), depending on the individual’s prescription. Many state Medicaid plans and private/commercial insurance plans follow similar guidelines. Some allow less than 200, and some may allow more.

To find out what you’re eligible to receive per monthly order, start by requesting to verify your insurance coverage.
