Can I get the maximum allowable number of catheters?
Wondering if you’re able to get the maximum allowable number of catheters? Your insurance plan will only cover what is medically necessary to treat your condition.
For example, if your healthcare provider has prescribed 60 catheters per month for you to catheterize twice daily, then 180 Medical or any other catheter supplier cannot provide more than 60 catheters per month.
If you think you need more catheter supplies than you currently receive, talk to your doctor to discuss those needs. Once we have your updated prescription and any other necessary supporting documentation, we will update your order for the new number of catheter supplies you need.
